Robbie Carlson
Life + Career CoachHelping women leaders create successful careers and extraordinary lives.
Hey there, I’m Robbie Carlson! Most days you can find me: smiling, cheerful, and excited about the day. Living life with passion and enthusiasm no matter what I’m doing.
What I Do
I coach and mentor professional women, primarily those in leadership roles, who want to be successful in their careers but are struggling with work life balance, being overwhelmed and burned out, and are yearning to have more joy in their lives. Having been in a leadership role in health care for 20+ years, 5 at the executive level, I often attract clients who are also in health care, I believe, because I lived their world, walked in their shoes, and can relate to their challenges.
I also coach women who are looking to make a career transition because they may have lost their job or perhaps they spent years climbing the corporate ladder only to find out they climbed the wrong ladder leaving them feeling unfulfilled and unhappy. I help these women find a career that aligns with their mission, purpose and core values. Through a very creative and thought provoking process, I take them on a journey of self-discovery.
A little about me…
I am mostly known for...
The very positive impact I have on people, my incredibly upbeat attitude, how happy I am 99% of the time, and my drive to be the very best version of myself and to help others to do the same.
People often refer to me as:
The bubbles from the champagne bottle, so enthusiastic about life! 🍾
I love serving the world by:
Helping people, especially women, find joy, success and fulfillment in their lives.
Things I am most passionate about in life are:
Spending time with my family and friends, celebrating the holidays (I love everything about the holidays, decorating to the max, cooking my family’s favorite meals and lots of it, purchasing just the right gifts for everyone & beautifully wrapping each) and traveling with my husband. I have always had a passion for leadership even before I had a formal leadership title. I organized and lead a junior golf league, was a girl scout leader for 6 years, taught Sunday school and assumed informal leadership roles in my children’s school and at our church.
My Approach: Leadership Development
As a coach, I inspire my clients to become their personal and professional best and to live purposeful, fulfilling and joyful lives.
I give my clients the gift of love, support, and encouragement to create a life they love.
As a former healthcare leader, I created a number of leadership development opportunities for administrative and physician leaders. This included creating content for and facilitating a Leadership
Development Institute. I created modules on various leadership topics that was widely used across our healthcare system. Because I am passionate about patient-centered care, I also created a comprehensive physician leadership series to educate physicians about how to deliver care that meets the needs of patients and families and was invited to present my education series at a national conference.
